Sad last week

2004 draws to a close and once again the news is of a disaster. Thousands of live have been lost resulting from the tsunami's that have resulted from an underground earthquake in an area that has not had any. A great sadness.
I believe in an afterlife and reincarnation. I believe the spirit lives on even when the body has been destroyed. Those that died are safe and are in better health than they have ever been on this plane of existence.
This knowledge does not give comfort to those left behind in the grip of despair and sorrow.
