Open Uni

I have decided to do an Open University course and it starts beginning of October. I plan to work towards a BA in Social Sciences. No idea what I will do with it but never know it may well come in useful in the future. It will keep my mind working though in the meantime.
A lot depends on my health which could get better. I can't help thinking that what the doctors given me is making things worse not better. One example is I was given blood pressure tablets' my legs and feet swelled up to a huge size and a bright red rash covered my legs. I went back to the doc and she reduced the strength of the tablets. The rash went and my legs and feet went back to normal. These are common side effects. If one reads the side effects of tablets no-one would really want to take any tablets but what are we to do?

New people

Met one of the new neighbours and he first said sorry for all the noise as he as getting the flat ready to move in. Ok...The he said he wanted to put in a driveway for his car. Not okay with me but my other half said ok, telling me later that it would save the man insurance. Bugger his insurance, there is not enough room for a driveway, his part of the garden is not wide enough and if there is a gate then he would have to park ouside my font door and I do not want that. Better half had not thought of that. What about the dog? We need the gate shut so he does not run out into the road, didn't think of that did you, better half? He will need the councils permission and I hope the consult with me or rather us, I am not sure how I will vote. But I am willing to lay odds that if we are against it then the new neighbours will become enemies because they could not have their own way. I have not faith in human nature being nice.
My better half did pace out the space and has reluctantly agreed with me that it will be oh so tight a fit. He talked about it with a neighbour over the fence who instantly said there is not enough room unless they did up the path and use some of my garden. Maybe the new neighbour will figure it out himself and nothing will come of it.
He also asked if he could cut down a tree in his back garden. Why ask me? It's not in my garden as I pointed out to him, nothing to do with me. Actually I am glad he wants to cut the damn thing down.

spam mail

Now and again I look at the spam section of my e-mail account, just to see what has turned up. I never ever open any of the e-mails. God knows what they contain but the highlights are interesting. Halifax telling me to contact urgently as my account had been suspended but considering I have never banked with them. I expect many people get e-mail like that. Black dating and Jewish dating, I am neither. List of nudist beaches, as if! My accident claim has been processed...? An old friend is trying to contact me...my e-mail address is not my name so they are trying to find the wrong person, tough. Viagra, various other pills. The list went on and on. Oh yes loans from companies in America. The e-mails did look more interesting that the valid ones that I do receive which are few and far between as the saying goes.

My dear Redd is completely healed and back to his usual self. He is out the back barking at the neighbours cat. I will have to go and get him to be quiet as it is too late at night to be making such noise.
The neighbour above died and his flat became available and I have heard that the new people moving in have 2 cats...oh dear, we have to share a garden and I am not going to keep my dog in just for their cats and anyway we were here first. Really we will just have to wait and see what happens.
