Goodbye Jerry Lee

Yesterday we had to have Jerry Lee put to sleep. Our hearts are broken. But it had to be done. Our darling could not manage steps and he was falling over when walking. He went downhill so quickly. Last Thursday he was reasonable okay. Friday he could not manage stairs. Went to take him for his walk but had to cut it short as he was so unsteady. He did not even want to eat.

As we have not had him from a puppy we are not totally sure of his age but going by what the vet said Jerry Lee was 12 or13 years old. For a German Shep that is not bad.

Our lovely boy is gone.

Doggie doo

For some months now we have been having butter/marg smered on our window by the the front door, eggs thrown at the lounge windows and stones. The door bell rings and nobody is there.
Dog doo in our front yard even when the gate was shut. I had first thourght some dog was getting in but it was always doing is poo in the same place.
My small front garden is all gravel and fenced in. A couple of weeks back my husband suggested that our hated neighbour at no 6 was dumping the dog doo in our garden. His garden is not fenced and is all grass. This week we noticed dog doo in his garden. Last night that dog doo and some tuff of grass were dumped in our garden. Tom was angered and threw some of the dog doo up at his lounge window. (The houses are badly designed, bedroom on the ground floor, lounge and kitchen on the 1st floor and the bathroom on the top floor.)
No. 6 give Tom a rude finger before opeing his lounge window and stating he was only returning our dogs' shit. Tom informed him forcefully that it was not our dogs. (We always pick up after Jerry Lee and he has never done anything on No 6 property.)
No 6 then told Tom to F off.
So Tom called the police and made a complaint.
Now he has reported it to the police he can right letters of complaint to the Council and Dunbritton who is No. 6 landlord.
And on it goes.
