Stay or change?

I am of course still on the old format only because I just could not be bothered changing. More than likely I should have changed.

Taking the kids

Tom and I are going to his mothers' for Christmas. Tom has not has Christmas at his mothers' in over 15 years. Blame the stepfather for that but now the old man is dead, Tom and his brother can enjoy time with their mother. Why she never stood up for them in the past gets me. The stepfather' children were welcome but not the mothers'. Oh well.
We will be taking the kids with us Jerry Lee the dog and Katie Kat, er the kitten. We could not get any friend to look after Katie Kat so I said we could not say at Toms' mothers as I would not leave Katie or Jerry unattended for a day. So they are coming with us and we will stay a day or two, no longer than that. I will be taking Katie Kats' scratching post and hope she stays away from any furniture or plant pots. The little darling has been using a plant pot at the front door, the smell gave it away. She has a perfectly good kitty litter tray, so why use the plant pot? Now I will have to replant the plant, which is huge, well Tom will as I still have only the use of one hand. Then to stop her in future from using it.
